Short Illness Fatal
To Small Exira Girl

Ila Mae, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Lou Bengard, died Friday at
the Jones hospital in Atlantic af-
ter an illness of only a few days
with intestinal influenza. The lit-
tle girl was taken to the hospital
on July 1 but all that could be done
was of no avail.

Funeral services were held at 2
o'clock Sunday afternoon at the
Christian church with the Rev. A
G. Whittier in charge and burial
was in the Exira cemetery.

Ila Mae Bengard was born at
Exira on February 29, 1932. She
is survived by her parents, nine
sisters and brothers, Maxine, Lois,
Elaine, Wanda, Jo Ellen, Vadis,
Juhl Larry, Jed Wendel and Ter-
ry Allan, and the maternal grand-
g(f)ather, J. P. Juhl of Brayton.
