Former Brayton Woman
Died at Osceola

Mrs. Garner A. Bartlett died at a
hospital in Osceola on Tuesday, after
several weeks illness with flu and
pneumonia. The remains were brought
to Brayton yesterday and funeral
services will be held tomorrow (Fri-
day) afternoon a two o'clock at the
Brayton Baptist church. Burial will
be in Oakfield cemetery.

Mrs. Bartlett was born in Chicago
on October 18, 1894, the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Nels Jansen, and was
married to Garner Bartlett at Brayton
on April 24, 1914. About seven years
ago the family moved to Osceola
where they have since made their
home. The deceased is survived by the
husband, two sons, Robert Mann aged
13 and Jack Shelby aged 11, her
mother, Mrs. Christine Ericksen, a
half-sister, Miss Marian Ericksen,
who lives at Mora, Minnesota; a sis-
ter, Mrs. Eleanor Sea, Gilmore City.
Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Bartlett of Bray-
ton are parents-in-law of the deceased.
