Atlantic Merchant Died
Following Long Illness

Joseph H. Marshall, pioneer mer-
chant of Atlantic, died early Wed-
nesday morning following an illness
of three years, the result of a par-
alytic stroke.

Mr. Marshall was known to many
people of this vicinity, a number of
them having patronized his store in
Atlantic over a long period of years.

He was the father of Howard A.
Marshall, manager of the Walnut
Grove Products company at Atlan-
tic and a former resident of this
county. One other son and two
daughters survive.
