AUDUBON PIONEER DEAD

Mrs. S. A. Anderson, 70, well-known
Audubon county pioneer resident, pas-
sed away at her home in Audubon Sat-
urday night, death resulting from
complications and old age. The de-
cedased has lived in Audubon county
for many years and has made a host
of friends in this vicinity.

She had been in failing health since
the death of her husband about fifteen
months ago.

The deceased is survived by four
daughters, Mrs. Lon Clark of Cedar
Rapids; Mrs. Clara Martin, Mrs. Leo
Riggs and Mrs. Fraanklin, all of Au-
dubon. Eugene Riggs of Atlantic is
a grandson.

Funeral services for the deceased
were held Tuesday afternoon at the
home in Audubon, Rev. Fancher offi-
ciating. Burial was made in the Exira
cemetery.
