Funeral services were held this af-
ternoon over the remains of the late
Mrs. Everett Smith, pioneer Audubon,
resident, at the Christian church in
Audubon.

Mrs. Smith passed away Monday,
death resulting from complications
due to old age. She was 70 years old.
Mr. Smith died several years ago.

The deceased is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Eva McManigal of S.
Dakota and Mrs. R. L. Robinson of
near Audubon, and two sons, Elmer
and Leonard of Audubon.

Mrs. McManigal and children ar-
rived in Audubon overland from S.
Dakota Tuesday and Elmer and wife,
who had been attending the funeral
of Mrs. Smith's father in Pennsyl-
vania, arrived home over the North-
western in the afternoon on Tuesday.
