WILLIAM BEASON DEAD

William Beason, aged 60, a resident
of this county since 1877, died Satur-
day at his home in Audubon following
a long illness with goitre trouble. He
is survived by the widow, two sons
William and LaVerne, one brother, Ed
Beason of Audubon, and one sister,
Mrs. Ed Rice of Gray. Funeral serv-
ices were conducted by Rev. O. B. Lee
from the Audubon Presbyterian church
Monday afternoon. Burial was in the
Maple Grove cemetery.
