MRS. MARTIN ESBECK OF
KIMBALLTON PASSES

Mrs. Martin Esbeck, well known
lady of Kimballton, died at the family
home Saturday evening after a long
illness with cancer.

The deceased lady was 62 years of
age. She is survived by the husband
and nine children. The children are
John Esbeck of Elk Horn; Mrs. Con-
rad Nelson of Kimballton; Mrs. Rob-
ert Harriman of Omaha; Mrs. Alvin
Aston of Sioux City; Leonard, Ed.,
Elmer, Grace and Esther, at home. She
also leaves her aged mother, Mrs.
Andrew Nelson; one sister, Mrs. Wm.
Boysen, of Elk Horn, and one brother,
M. Nelson of Elk Horn.

Funeral services were held Monday
at the home, Rev. Jorgensen assisted
by Rev. H. L. Jensen officiating.
Burial was in the Kimballton ceme-
tery.

Note: The 1900 census for Leroy twp., town of Audubon, lists Mary Esbeck's birth as Jan. 1865, Denmark, immigration 1870. Her husband, Martin Esbeck is listed as born July 1852, Denmark, occupation hardware merchant, immigration 1869
