Exira Woman Passes Away
After Long Illness
-----------

Mrs. Mary Belle Kline Heath, long
time resident of Exira and Audubon
county, died at her home here at 9:15
Friday morning, following a long ill-
ness with heart disease and complica-
tions. She was born in this county on
March 16, 1879.

She has always been a faithful
mother with a high sense of duty to
her family, and to that duty she gave
the full measure of toll and devotion.
Some years ago, she united with the
Christian church.

Mrs. Heath was the mother of nine
children, six of whom are living, three
having died in infancy. Those who
survive are Ivan Heath and Mrs. Es-
ther Gill of Exira, Garner, Clair, Rob-
ert and Adeline Heath at home. She
is also survived by a sister, Mrs.
Maude Bowen of Grinnell, and five
brothers, Wood, Fred, Bud, Wallace
and Andrew Kline, all of Exira.

Funeral services were held Sunday
afternoon at the Christian church at
2 o'clock with the Rev. Virgil B. Hill,
assisted by Rev. Sherman B. Moore
in charge. Burial was in the Exira
cemetery.
