Mrs. Mary Ellen Hunt Died
at Her Home Here Friday

Mrs. Mary Ellen Cloud Hunt died at
her home here Friday morning at 11
o'clock, as a result of cancer from
which she had long been a sufferer.

She was born in Illinois March 23,
1859 and was married to Isaiah Hunt
in Exira on December 16, 1876. Sur-
viving are three sons and a daughter.
The sons are Charles and George Hunt
of Exira, Lawrence Hunt of Richmond,
California, and the daughter is Mrs.
Lillian Gilbert of Hugo, Colorado. Mrs.
Gilbert had been at her mother's bed
side for two weeks.

Funeral services were held Sunday
morning at 10 o'clock at the George
Hunt home. The Rev. Sherman B.
Moore officiated and burial was in the
Exira cemetery.
