DEATH TAKES A

URDAY FOLLOWING SHORT
ILLNESS DUE TO AGE
--------Mrs. Cornelia Adeline Faust passed
away July 25, 1925 at Exira, Iowa.
Mrs. Faust, whose maiden name was
Miss Dafford, died at the age of
seventy-two years, having been born
April 14, 1853. She was married to
Geo. W. Faust at Martinsville, Ind.,
in the year 1873. They soon came to
Carroll, Iowa, and after a brief visit
to Indiana, again returned to Iowa,
making their home in Audubon coun-
ty at Exira.Their children now living are Mrs.
Ida Gransberry, Butte, Montana; Mrs.
Rose Knox, Exira; Walter, Martins-
ville, Indiana; Hal of Lusk, Wyoming;
Ray of Exira, Mrs. Ruth Hopkins of
Gage, Montana; Mrs. Marie Nelson of
Des Moines.Mrs. Faust had three sisters and
one brother, namely, Mrs. Frances
Heath, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Rose
Luther and Mrs. Susie Burton, both
of Los Angeles, California, and Rob-
ert Dafford, Oakfield, Iowa.Mrs. Faust had been a member of
the Christian church and belonged to
this church for over thirty years.
She was a truthful student of the
Bible and other Christian literature.Funeral services were held in the
local Christian church, conducted by
Rev. Dale Humbert, and interment
in the Exira cemetery.CARD OF THANKS
We wish to express our heartfelt
thanks for the many acts of kindness
shown during the illness and death of
our beloved mother, Cornelia Faust.
Also for the beautiful floral offerings.

Mrs. June Lewis of Anita was in
Exira Tuesday attending the funeral
of the late Mrs. Cornelia Faust.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Faust, Mrs. Rob-
ert Gransberry and Mrs. Lester Heath
spent Thursday at the Robert Daf-
ford home near Brayton.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Nelsen returned
to their home at Des Moines, Wed-
nesday. They were called here by the
illness and death of Mrs. Nelsen's
mother, Mrs. Cornelia Faust. Mrs.
Kirk Knox accompanied them to Des
Moines for a short visit with her hus-
band who is in a hospital there.
Mrs. Robert Gransberry of Butte,
Montana, was called here to attend
the funeral of her mother, Mrs. Cor-
nelia Faust. She will remain here
for a short visit with relatives and

rado, was called here the fore part of
the week on account of the death of
