BABY FOUND DEAD
IN MOTHER'S ARMS
--------
Infant Son of Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Jespersen Dies
of Heart Trouble
--------
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jespersen
of Dedham were called upon to
mourn the death of their six-weeks
old baby boy, last Thursday.
The Jespersens autoed to Exira
from Dedham and upon their ar-
rival here went to the home of her
mother, Mrs. Ralph Akers. Upon
uncovering the little one, it was
found dead.
The little babe had been ailing
with a weak heart since birth, and
this is thought to have been the
cause of its sudden demise.
Short funeral services were held
Friday afternoon, with Rev. Ep-
pard in charge. Burial was made
in the Exira cemetery.
Mr. Jespersen came here to ac-
company Mr. High on an auto trip
to Wyoming with a view of buying
a home, and the men were expect-
ing to leave Friday morning.

Mrs. Ralph Akers and daughter,
Ermile, accompanied their daugh-
ter and sister, Mrs. Violette Jes-
persen to her home in Dedham,
Saturday to remain a week. The
sudden death of her babe had al-
most driven the mother to distrac-
tion and it was thought the pres
ence of loved ones would help to
relieve her mental strain until she
has fully recovered from the shock.Audubon County Journal (IA)
