MRS. MARIE ANDERSEN
PASSED AWAY SATURDAY

Mrs. Marie Andersen, for many
years a resident of the Brayton vicin-
ity, passed away Saturday evening at
the Atlantic hospital, where she had
been a patient the past four years.
Death was due to the infirmities of
old age. Mrs. Andersen broke a hip
several years ago and had never re-
covered from it. She was eighty-
three years of age.

The deceased was born in Denmark
and about twenty-five years ago came
to this country locating in the vicinity
of Brayton. Her husband, Chris An-
dersen, died about twenty-four years ago
and there are no surviving children.
A. F. Andersen of Brayton is a
nephew by marriage.

Funeral services were held at 1:30
Sunday afternoon at Oakhill church,
Rev. Ludwig Mehr officiating. Inter-
ment was in Oakhill cemetery.
