Exira, Iowa, Feb. 10--Mrs. Mary Hogan Dill, 69, found dead yesterday noon by her son, George, employed by G.F. Factory, when he returned for the lunch hour. When found, Mrs. Dill was sitting in a chair in the living room of her home and apparently succumbed following a heart attack. About an hour earlier, neighbors had seen her scooping the walks near her home.
She was born March 6, 1870, in Illinois, where she was married to Edward W. Dill, Mar. 2, 1887. They moved to a farm near Anita, 45 years ago and later resided on a farm south of Exira. She had resided in Exira for the last 24 years. Mr. Dill died July 10, 1934.
Mrs. Dill was the mother of eleven children, three of whom died in infancy. Surviving are two sons, Harry of Atlantic, and George of Exira; six daughters, Mrs. Abbie McMenamin and Mrs. Minnie Hill of Dexter, Mrs. May Jones and Mrs. Anna Tibben of Exira, Mrs. Addie Knight and Mrs. Erma Roll of Atlantic; thirty grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one brother Charles Hogan of Viola, Illinois.
Funeral service will be held at the Corl Funeral home here Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Brady Brown, pastor of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the Exira Cemetery.
