Harry Phippen
dies Tuesday
Services for Harry Phippen, 60,
former Exira resident will be
conducted Friday at the Long's
Funeral Home in Anita at 1:30
P.M.
Mr. Phippen died at his home
Tuesday at about 3:30 p.m. He
is survived by his wife, one
daughter, Mrs. Milo Buckley of
Omaha, four grandchildren, and
his mother, Mrs. Hans Larsen of
Exira.
He had lived for many years
in this area and farmed in the
Anita vicinity for about the past
15 years.

Funeral services for Harry
Phippen were held Friday at
Long's Funeral home in Anita.
Mr. Phippen died April 22 at his
home near Anita.
Surviving are his wife, one
daughter, Mrs. Milo Buckley of
Omaha, four grandchildren; two
brothers. Lester of Storm Lake
and Virgil of California, and his
mother, Mrs. Hans Larsen of Ex-
ra.

Two sons preceded him in
death.
Burial was in the Exira Ceme-
tery. Many friends and relatives
from Exira and surrounding ter-
ritory also attended the Anita
services.

1. Harry V. Phippen, born December 10, 1897 in Exira, Audubon County, Iowa; died April 22, 1958 in Anita, Cass County, Iowa at his home. He was the son of 2. Robert William Phippen and 3. Jessie Gretchen Martin. He married Ethel May Stonebraker Bef. 1919. She was born June 11, 1899 in Audubon County, Iowa, and died June 1983, last residence Anita, Cass County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Charles Stonebraker.

2. Robert William Phippen, born June 25, 1873 in Madrid, Boone Co, IA; died December 1941 in Exira, Audubon County, Iowa. He was the son of 4. George Phippen and 5. Anna Channon. He married 3. Jessie Gretchen Martin March 10, 1896.
3. Jessie Gretchen Martin, born October 06, 1876 near Exira, Audubon County, Iowa; died August 07, 1958 in Audubon County Memorial Hospital, Audubon, Iowa. She was the daughter of 6. James Henry Martin and 7. Elizabeth Jane "Bettie" Goforth.
