a patient at the hospital since
October 11, but had been in
failing health since early this
year.

She was born in Adair county
Dec. 19, 1918, the daughter of
Albert and Grace Johnson. She
moved to Exira vicinity with
her parents in 1933, where she
graduated from Exira high
school in 1936.

She was united in marriage
with Harold Andersen May 27,
1939. They spent their entire
married live on a farm north of
Exira. She became a member
of the Exira Lutheran church in
1941.

She is survived by her hus-
band, Harold, two sons, Larry
and Curtis, one daughter, Jan-
elle and her parent, Grace and
Abert Johnson of Exira, three
sisters, Mrs. Helen Evans of
Dexter, Mrs. Lavere Whetstone
of Casey, Mrs. Maxine Lykke
of Bratyon, two brothers, Earl
of Fontanelle and Oliver of
Brayton.
