OBITUARY OF VERNON WHEELER

Ira Vernon Wheeler was born September 20, 1887 on a farm five miles southeast of Exira, and died at his home at Bridgewater, Iowa, February 3, 1920, at the age of 32 years, 4 months and 14 days.

He was united in marriage to Myrtle Mary Johnson, May 7, 1908, and leaves to mourn his loss a wife and two children, Gerald Oscar and Verna Lois; also father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Wheeler of Exira, three brothers and two sisters, Russell R., Erwin V., Lauren J. and Mrs. Elmer Boehme of Exira; Elda E. Wheeler of Chicago, Illlinois. Three brothers preceded him to the Great Beyond several years ago.

Funeral services were held at the Christian Church, at Exira, Friday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Byrl Babcock. The body was laid to rest in the Exira cemetery. We extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
