GOOD YOUNG MOTHER LAID TO REST

Myrtle Jayne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.P. Jayne, was born in Audubon county October 14, 1886, and died at her home near West Chester, Iowa, Tuesday, February 17th, after a few days' illness with flu and complications.

She was married to Lee Hough of Washington county September 16, 1908. She is survived by her husband, six children,--Mildred, Earl, Beatrice, Edward, Clarence and Ray; her father, mother, two brothers and five sisters,--Claude, Mrs. W. J. Hartzell of Exira, Charles, of Hamlin; Mrs. Rilla Slater, of Gray; Mrs. Cora McNary of Guthrie Center; Mrs. R. C. Buchanan, of Walnut; Mrs. M. P. Jensen of Atlantic. The funeral was held Wednesday, burial at West Chester Cemetery.
A vacant place within the home,
A loving voice is stilled;
An aching void within our hearts
That never can be filled.
