Will Littlefield and Rodney Mar-
tin, good honest boys residing with
their parents out east on Trouble-
some bade farewell to their many
friends yesterday and left for San
Francisco, California where they
will view the country until fall at
least. They were undecided whether
they would take the southern
route or way of Seattle, Washing-
ton then by boat to their destination.

Note: Parents of Rodney James Martin were James Henry Martin and Elizabeth Jane "Bettie" Goforth. Rodney married Anna Belle Chambers, who was a granddaughter of Colbert "Carl" Strahl, one of the members of the Crooked Creek (aka Troublesome Creek) gang.
Parents of William Augustus Littlefield were Alonzo Follansbee Littlefield and Sarah Edwards.
