MERTES - CHASE

The marriage of Miss Leota Mertes (1907-1990)
to Earl "Jerry" Chase (1905-1986) occurred at the
Methodist parsonage in Audubon on
Sunday, Rev. Parker performing the
ceremony.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John Mertes and is well known
to many residents of this community
as an excellent young lady. The groom
is the son of Mrs. George Chase and
was born and raised in Exira. He is
a graduate of Exira high school
and for the past two years he has
operated a dray line here.

The many friends of the couple join
us in wishing them a long and happy
wedded life.
