Exira Young Couple
Married Last Thursday---------
A very pretty wedding took place
at the Church of Christ last Thurs-
day afternoon when Miss Violet
Fredericksen and Leonard Johnson
were united in holy wedlock by the
Rev. A. G. Whitti(e)r, pastor of the
church. The bride wore a dress of pale
blue silk crepe and a veil of
white chiffon and carried a bouquet
of pink and white carnations. The
bridegroom wore the conventional
black. Miss Alma Wendt and Miss
Irene Christensen served as brides-
maids and Kermit Fredericksen and
Raymond Mortensen attended the
bridegroom. Beulah Fredericksen,
sister of the bride, was ring bearer.
The wedding march was played by
Miss Ava Nelson.Following the ceremony a three
course wedding dinner was serv(e)d at
the home of the bride's parents. The bride is a daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Fredericksen. She
is a graduate of the Exira high
school class of '31. The bridegroom
is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John John-
son of West Exira. He is an in-
dustrious young man and for the
past three years has been employed
by Herman Bornholdt and at this
time is working for Frank Thielen,
east of town. The couple have numerous friends
in the community who will join us
in wishing for them many years of
happy married life.
