Little Girl Severely
Injured In Accident

Ivadell Corley, seven year old
Exira girl was severely injured
Wednesday evening when the
wheels of an automobile passed
over her body. The little girl was
enroute home from school and
started across the street near the
Anders property and walked di-
rectly into the path of an auto
driven by Walter Nelson of west
of Exira. She was knocked to the
pavement and the wheels of the
car passed over her body just above
the hips. She received severe
bruises and internal injuries, the
nature of which have not yet been
determined at this time. She was
taken to the office of Dr. R. A. Ja-
cobsen and from there rushed to
the Carroll hospital where her con-
dition is reported as grave.
