John, I just happened on this site and read your message. My father is Glen Parcel which you mention.
My mother name is Leona (McConnell). Dad passed away in 1974 and Mom in 1987. I find it interesting that you have 2 Ls in your name as that is the way we pronounce it. Par-cell instead of Parcel like in parcel post. There are 11 of us in the family. My oldest sister lives in Ohio. We still have cousins living down in that area around Centerville. I would like to hear from you or Nancy. I don't take time very often to follow my family history. I have 2 sisters who are more involved in this than I am.
