MARSHALL, NOT SURE IF YOU STILL READ THIS BOARD BUT IM A DESCENDANT OF A SAMUEL AND SUSAN MARSHALL FROM FAYETTE COUNTY PA I BELIEVE HOWEVER SOME CAME TO IOWA WITH ANOTHER FAMILY WITH THE LAST NAME OF HAWK

Hi Kathy. Robert Marshall was my great grandfather. Robert and Emma's (Charlotte Emily Emma Hutchins?)son Ray Marshall was my grandfather (b. April 15, 1890, d. August 30, 1948 in Centerville). He married Kitty Evelyn Rupe ca. 1910 (b. April 6, 1893, d. July 8, 1980). They had 14(?) children in Mystic. Ray was a coal miner and farmer, died of black lung disease. One son, Robert, was killed on Attu in the Aleutian Islands during WWII. My mother was Frances Alberta Marshall, served in the WAVES in WWII.Good luck finding more information on Clara-I know very little about Ray's brothers and sisters, and my mother, along with all my aunts and uncles except one have passed.
