Manson Cox, any info at all

Looking for any info on Manson and Elizabeth Cox. Came to Appanoose 1840-1850. Manson was on the 1840 census in Jefferson County Tennessee. Both were born about 1820 in Tennessee. Some of the children were Margaret, Mary, John, Evander Lafayette, Erastus, Ulyssus. I believe all but John were born in Iowa. Manson was on the 1880 census, but the 1900 showed Elizabeth alone. They lived in Washington and Udell townships. Any info would be greatly appreciated, especially a death date for Manson. I would assume they were Methodist, I believe Reed Cox of the Shiloh Methodist Church in Butler County, Missouri was Manson's father.
