No pictures since newspapers didn't publish many in those years, but:

Second column from the left, a note about Sherman Smith's illness in 1921 that led to his death. There was no obituary:

Third column from the right, obituary for Lilliam Smith in 1940 which includes Sherman's date of death:

Second column from the right, Melvin's obituary in 1941, including the name of his wife Druzilla (Dillie). It notes they moved from the farm to Centerville in 1938 due to his illness, which probably led the the forced sale of the farm.
