Robert Gardner, second son of John Gardner, was my great-grandfather. I have been unable to find any information on the ancestry of John Gardner beyond the information in the US Census stating that his father was born in PA and His mother in OH. I have been searching for 3 years and have literally hit a brick wall. Ann Rowland was a sister of Frances Marion Creamer and eventually settled in Oregon. John Gardner died in Eugene, Lane, Oregon in 1892.
