Reubon Raney Obit

Noticed there was a Obit for Reubon Raney posted on 23 Feb 2013 and was wondering about the surname of Reubons first wife Charlotte. Records show that her surname is Wise or Wice but the obit states House. Not sure where the House name comes from. Does anyone know what the connection is?
