Here's his information on findagrave, which includes two images of his headstone.

It also has a copy of his WW I draft registration some time in 1917 or 1918. This headstone says he served in the 56th Engineers and the text says Navy, but the 56th was an Army unit. You can read about it here, which does not list his name.
