Thank you very much. The name of the specific person of interest is Henry Cline. He was born in Monroe County Ohio in 1832. He moved to Pleasant Township, Appanoose County Iowa in 1854 with several other related Cline households including his father, Isaac William Cline. In the Iowa 1856 Census, Henry's name is listed as A. H. Cline. We cannot go back to find out what the "A" stands for because the Monroe County Ohio records were destroyed by fire in the mid 1800's. Henry's only son was named Andrew...so the "A" may have stood for Andrew. Or, the A. could just be an error. All other records we have, he is just Henry Cline. Thank you so much for looking this up for me. I really appreciate it!
