For several years I have been doing research on Civil War Union Soldiers who served with my great, great grandfather Peter Talkington of the 8th Iowa Cavalry.

To date I have records on 55 of them who have a direct connection to Appanoose County.

If you will send me names I'll check my records and copy for you what I have.

I have published two thick reference books on Union Soldiers buried in Oklahoma and will be glad to do free lookup for you.
