Research Help!

MAGERS, MAJORS, WAILES

I have an ancestor, Riley Magers, who was from Marshall county, Iowa, but I have recently learned that he married his second wife, Susan Wailes, on 4 July, 1877, in Centerville, Appanoose county. Riley died less than a year later on 10 March, 1878. I have always figured he died in Marshall county, but now I am wondering if he might have died in Appanoose county. His widow was living in Appanoose county during the 1880 census, with their two year old son, James R. Magers. (Misspelled as Majors in that census.) I had research done for Riley in Marshall county and the researcher could find no obituary or burial for him. (There is an unmarked grave next to another son who is buried in Marshall county, so that could be Riley. Yet, I can't be sure at this point.) I really need to have an obituary and cemetery search done for Riley in Appanoose county. I also need to find out if Susan ever remarried and if Susan & her son remained in the county. Does anyone know where I can write in Appanoose county for this type of research?
