MRS. C. ELLEDGE OF CINCINNATI IS TAKEN BY ILLNESS
Well Known Resident of Cincinnati and Centerville Succumbs to Influenza
Mrs. C. R. Elledge of Cincinnati died of illness at her home in Cincinnati on Tuesday night. Mrs. Elledge, 75, had been ill with influenza for the past 10 days.
Mrs. Elledge lived in Centerville for 15 years before moving to Cincinnati, where she and her husband operated a store for many years. Mr. Elledge has been quite ill with pneumonia but is some better now.
The aged couple observed their 56th wedding anniversary last August. She was a fine, Christian mother and neighbor. Her death brings a sense of great loss to her family and a host of friends and neighbors.
Surviving her in death are her aged and companion and the following children: R. L. Elledge of Centerville; Prof. Fred Elledge of Coulter, Iowa, George, at home and Mrs. Bowie of San Benito, Texas.
Also surviving are three brothers: H. C. Staley of Cincinnati; W. L. Staley, of near Centerville, and Les Staley of Washington state.
Funeral services have not been definitely arranged, pending arrival of the daughter, who is on her way here from Texas.
