Cecyl KlepferCecyl L. Kelpfer, 90, died Thursday in St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital.
Born October 7, 1896, in Centerville she was the daughter of Samuel Irvin and Lida Stone more. She was married to Lawrence Klepfer in Ottumwa February 3, 1923, and he preceded her in death on September 11, 1954.
She graduated from Centerville High School in 1914, was a member of the first United Methodist Church in Centerville, chapter KA, P.E.O., MXL Society, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Saint Joseph's Mercy Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son, Larry, of the glen view, Illinois; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother, Dillon Moore.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Rex.Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Johnson-Lange funeral home, with Reverend Don Bardole officiating. interment will be in Oakland cemetery. A visitation was held Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. A memorial to first United Methodist Church has been established, and memorial gifts may be left at the funeral home.
