R. Dillon Moore
Graveside services for R. Dillon Moore, 91, a resident of 509 East Maple Street, Centerville, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14 at Oakland Cemetery.
The Reverend James Schweizer will officiate. Friends may call all day Friday at the Johnson-Lange Funeral Home.
R. Dillon Moore died Wednesday night, May 11, 1983 at the St. Joseph’s Mercy hospital in Centerville. He was born May 25, 1891 at Centerville and was the son of Samuel Irwin Moore and Lida Stone Moore.
He attended school in Centerville and graduated from Centerville high school in 1909. He was employed as a pharmacist in Kansas City for forty years He was a member of the Baptist church in Kansas City and a member of the Masonic Grand Lodge 316 of Kansas City. He served as a Marine sergeant in World War I.
He is survived by one sister, Cecyl Klepfer, Centerville and one nephew, Larry Kupfer, Glenview, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rex Moore.
