Margaret Adamson
Margaret E. (Ess) Adamson, Centerville, died Tuesday, October 25, 1977, at Golden Age Manor.
Born in Plano, she was the daughter of Alfred C. And Anna M. Thurman Stone She was married to James H. Adamson in Marshalltown in 1929, and he preceded her in death in 1973.
Mrs. Adamson was a member of the Methodist church, and chapter KA, PEO and at one time represented Cownie Furs in this area.
Survivors include one niece, Cecyl Klepfer, Centerville; and three nephews Dillon Moore, Centerville; Res Moore, Aurora, Illinois; Larry S. Klepfer, Glenview, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Lida A. Moore and Cora Kendrick, two brothers, Charlie Stone and Walter Stone, and one nephew.
Services will be Thursday, at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, with the Reverend David Dunsmore officiating. Burial will be in Numa Cemetery. The casket will not be open. A memorial has been established to First Methodist Church, and Contributions may be left at the funeral home.
