DIED

At the residence of H. L. Halliday in Livingston, this county, Charles W. Landers. H e was born in New Haven, N. Y. December 31st, 1862. Last year he came west on account of impaired health, and has since been a resident of our county. He was taken with typhoid fe­ver some four weeks since, and peacefully passed away to rest November 3rd, 1881. Charles possess­ed many rare traits of character, which commended him to those who knew him. He united with the M. E. church at the age of 12 years, and remained a member of the same up to his death. In his death, Mrs. Halliday loses a son whom she justly prized. He was the only brother of Mr. Geo. Lan­ders of our city. He leaves one sister, in the cast, together with many friends to mourn his loss,
