Miss Lorena Larson
Miss Lorena E. Larson, 81, of 243 N. Moore, died at 5:45 a.m. today at the Good Samaritan Home at Municipal Airport following an illness of several months.
She was the daughter of Peter and Johannah Hanson Larson and was born in Ottumwa April 12, 1883. She had lived here all of her life and was a lifetime member of the First Lutheran Church.
Surviving her are four nephews, Leslie Polson of Burbank, California, Lester Polson of Bell, California, Alfred Larson of Des Moines and Hubert Strandberg of Centerville, and four nieces, Mrs. Marie Brown of Osceola, Mrs. Marguerite Jungman of Scotland, S. D. and Miss Lorene Billberg of Des Moines and Miss Eloise Polson of El Segundo, California.
Preceding her in death were eight brothers and sisters. She was the last of her family.
The body is at the Johnson Funeral Chapel.

Miss Lorena Elizabeth Larson of Ottumwa passed away at the Good Samaritan Home Thursday , April 16.  Funeral services will be held at the Lutheran Church in Ottumwa at 1:30 p.m. April 18

Miss Lorena Elizabeth Larson of 243 North Moore Street, Ottawa, Iowa, passed away at the Good Samaritan Home on Thursday, April 16, 1964.  Born in Ottawa April 12, 1883, she was the daughter of Peter and Johanna Larson, pioneer residents of that city.  She was the youngest of nine children, three of him died in infancy.
She was a member of the First Lutheran church and was confirmed on May 29, 1898, by Dr. S. G. Youngert.  Her parents were charter members of this church.
Surviving are the following nieces and nephews: Mrs. Marie Brown of Osceola, Iowa, Mrs Marguerite Jungman of Scotland, South Dakota, Miss Lorene Billberg of Des Moines, Miss Eloise Polson of El Segundo, California, Lester Polson of Bell, California, Alfred Larson of Des Moines, and Hubert Strandberg of Centerville.
Funeral Services will be held at the Lutheran Church in Ottawa at 1:30 p.m. April 18, 1964.
