Mrs. Peter Strandberg
Elin Amanda Larson was born September 15, 1877 in Ottumwa, Iowa, and passed away at her home 1007 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa, April 15, 1942
She came to Centerville in 1895, and was united in marriage with Peter Strandberg, December 27, 1900.  To this union were born three children: Marvin, who preceded her in death, march 9, 1940, Hubert and Mrs. Marie Ross.  She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, two children, four grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. P. A. Polson, Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Henning Billberg, Exline, Iowa, and Miss Lorena Larson, Ottawa, Iowa.
She was baptized into the Lutheran faith, and was confirmed a member on May 29, 1892.  She lied her church and devotedly served it as long as her health permitted.
She was a good wife, a loving mother, and was always desirous of helping her friends and neighbors.
Services were conducted from the First Evangelical Lutheran church, Centerville, Iowa, April 18, 1942 and interment was in Oakland cemetery.
