DULAH MARIE ALLEN CALLED BY DEATH
Well Known Woman Died at Home of Father Here Today after an Extended Illness
Dulah Marie Allen, 36 years of age, died at 2:00 a.m. today at the home of her father Alfred Allen of 923 South Nineteenth Street, as the result of ill health which had extended over a considerable period of time but which had not become critical until the past week.
Miss Allen was born and raised in Centerville and had gone to school in this city. Following her school life she stayed at home aiding in caring for her father after her mother’s death nearly five years ago. Beside her father she is survived by three sisters and two brothers as follows. Mrs. Alma Almquist of Colorado and Mrs. Victor Shellburg, of Rockford, the brothers are Erin and Elmer Allen. Miss Allen was a woman of fine character and all those who knew her mourn her death. The neighbors living in the vicinity of the Allen home today all express the deepest sorrow. Miss Allen has been a member of the Swedish Lutheran church for a long period of hears being confirmed in tat faith in 1909.
Funeral arrangements have not been made and will be announced later.

FUNERAL NOTICE
Funeral services for Miss Dulah Allen will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 5, at 2:00 p.m. from the First Lutheran church. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
