FORMER RESIDENT IVAN KRAUS DIES AT HANNIBAL, MISSOURI
Kraus was Brother to Former Long Time Employee of the Goldstein Store, This City
Word has been received here today of the death Ivan Kraus, former resident of this city, and Hannibal, Missouri. Mr. Kraus was a brother to the late Sigrid Krantz, who was employed for a long period of time at the former Goldstein store here. He preceded his brother in death.
Mr. Krantz was a nephew to Pete Strandberg of this city and was well known to a large number of folks here especially the Swedish people.
Funeral services are being held at Hannibal tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon. Several from this city will attend.

KRANS OBITUARY IS TAKEN FROM HANNIBAL PAPER
Former Resident of this City was Brother to Miss Sigrid Krans, Well Known Here
From a Hannibal, Missouri newspaper gives details regarding the death of Eaver Reinhold Krans, former resident of this city, and a brother to Miss Sigrid Krans, who was employed at the former Goldstein store here for many years. Mr. Krans had many friends here and they will be interested in the following:following:
Eaver Reoinhold Krans, 52, proprietor of the Purity Ice Cream parlor at 1805 Market St., passed away at 3:25 PM Friday afternoon in Levering Hospital from a stroke of paralysis with which he was stricken Thursday night. Mr. Krans resided at 114 North Seventh.
He was born February 24, 1886, in Sweden, son of Carl P. and Betsy Benson Krans, and came to America in September, 1894, locating at Centerville, where he continued to live until coming to Hannibal 18 years ago.
Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Lilly Garrett, Mrs. Sigrid Krans and Miss Erna Krans; one brother, Helgie R. Krans; and a nephew, William Harold Garrett, all of whom live in Hannibal.
The remains were removed to Schwartz's funeral home and prepared for burial. Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. At Schwartz's with the Rev. W. G. Schwehn, Remains will be taken to the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
