JAMES BRYAN IS CALLED BY DEATH, WELL KNOWN HERE
Retired Farmer Had Formerly Lived in the Drakesville Vicinity; Had Many Friends
Funeral services for James W. Bryan, 86, retired farmer, whose death occurred at his home at 1916 Drake avenue at 5 a. m. Sunday, will be held from the Beckner Funeral home Wednesday at 2:00 o’clock. Burial will be at Drakesville.
Mr. Bryan was well known here and in the northeastern part of Appanoose county and a wide circle of friends and relatives mourn his death. He had been in failing health for some time and his death Sunday was the culmination of failing health over a considerable period of time. He had been a resident of this city for the past 14 years and prior to that time lived on a farm near Drakesville.
The Rev. Paul Hicks, pastor of the First Methodist church of this city will officiate at the funeral and burial.
