Juanita “Johnnie” Harrison
Peoria, AZ

Juanita “Johnnie” Harrison, 76, passed away November 7, 2008 in Peoria, Arizona, where she has lived the last 18 years, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Iowa and lived there until the age of 36. She is survived by her husband, Fred, her soul-mate; her brothers, Jim Cron, Jerry Cron (Linda), Merle Cron, Bart Cron (Pat), sister Helen (Jerry), and sister-in-laws Donna and Arlene.

A loving mother of five children, daughters, Kim, Coralee, Debbie, Nancy and son Fred, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Juanita loved life, loved to travel and had a big heart for family and friends. She was a friend of Bill W. for many years. Her 18 years in retirement was a busy time, bowling, travelling, volunteering at Boswell Hospital and she loved to shop.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 13 at Sunland Mortuary from 4 to 7 p.m. Services will be Friday, November 14 at 11 am at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa November 2008.
