Gone to his Home.

The Centerville papers announce the death in that city, March 4th, of Mr. Peter Carmichael, in the 74th year of age. He had been a resident of that place for nearly fifteen years, removing there from this city. He was an honorable, upright man, of whom no evil could be spoken, and enjoyed the fullest confidence of the community in which he resided. Many of his old friends in this city will learn of his death with genuine sorrow, for there are few men so true as Peter Carmichael-plain and outspoken as he was. The remains were interred at Centerville and the funeral was largely attended.
