Irvin Funeral
Held Sunday

Mrs. Vernie Mary Irvin, Cincinnati, died Friday, Feb. 26, 1960, at 2:10 p.m., at the Monroe Hospital in Unionville. Mo., at the age of 72 years, ten months, and ten days old.
Bom in Putnam County, Mo,. April 16, 1887, she was the daughter of John and Frances Wade Sparks. Her first marriage was to James Wright, and on Oct. 12, 1908, she united in marriage with Thomas Irvin.
Surviving are her husband, six children, John Wright, Cincinnati, Dean Wright Ladysmith, Wisc, Mrs. Frances Tock, Westlake, La., Mrs. Essie O'Donnell, Cincinnati, William Irvin, Rock Island, ILL., and Roy Clofton, Silvis, ILL.; 17
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Cincinnati, Christian Church, with Noah Robbins and the Rev. Earl Stark officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The body was at Johnson's Funeral Home.
