Lulu Higginbotham

MYSTIC - Lulu Higginbotham, 91, formerly of Mystic, died Thursday at the Emily Flynn Home in Marion, Ind.

Born in Mystic July 11, 1883, the daughter of Abraham and Linn Carter, she was married to Charles (Chick) Higginbotham. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and two daughters.

She was a member of the Christian Church and a past matron and 50-year member of Eastern Star.

Survivors are a son, Montelle Higginbotham of Aurora, Mo., seven grandchildren, and a sister, Mae Evans of Seal Beach, Calif.

The body is at the Johnson Funeral Home in Centerville. The funeral will be at the Mystic Christian Church Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial in Highland Cemetery.
