THE BRAZIL ACCIDENT.
Particulars of the Death of Albert N. Harris.

Albert N. Harris, the man who was killed in the Centerville Block Mine No. 7, at Brazil yesterday, was this afternoon buried in the Philadelphia church yard. The services were conducted by the grand army, to which organization Mr. Harris belonged, being
a member of the 3d Iowa Cavalry.
A large number of friends were present to witness the last sad rites. A wife and five children mourn the loss of a true husband and affectionate father.
As was briefly stated in these columns last evening Harris met with his death by the falling of a quantity of slate while digging in Mine No. 7 at Brazil. The accident occurred about ten o'clock yesterday morning and was caused by the caving in of the roof. Harris, with his son, went into his room and preparing for work he sounded the roof with his sledge, and deciding that a prop was unnecessary he started to undermine his coal. He had hardly begun to use his pick when the roof caved in, pinning him to the bottom, crushing his breast and head. He was quickly removed from the mine and taken home and a physician from Mystic was called in. The
latter decided that the injuries were fatal and everything possible was done to alleviate his sufferings. He died several hours later.
