Mr. Jacob Farnsworth died Wednesday at noon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lincoln Caster. Mr. Farnsworth had been an invalid for several
years and death at last relieved his sufferings. He was laid to rest in the cemetery at Exline.

Exline, Mch 2.—(Iowegian Special Correspondence)—Jacob Farnsworth was born in Monroe county, Ohio, Dec. 6, 1833. And died at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. A. L. Caster, Feb. 23, 1904, and was_buried Feb 24, at Exline. He was laid to rest by the side of his wife who died 22 years ago.
He came to this county from Ohio in 1856 and enlisted in Aug, 1862 in Co. G 36th Iowa Infantry and served to the close of the war. He leaves three sons and three daughters, M. F., H. W., A. L., Mrs. Lola Caster, and Mrs. Arsuta Albertson of this county and Mrs. Lillie Cox of Oklahoma.
