June 3, 1977Last Rites For Montgomery, 62
James Montgomery, 62, of Centerville, formerly of Fairfield, died Friday at a hospital in Des Moines. He suffered a heart attack Wednesday and was transferred Friday morning from the Centerville hospital to Des Moines.
Services were held Monday in the Johnson Funeral Home in Centerville. The family home is at 602 W. State, Centerville, Iowa, 52554.
Montgomery was a carpenter in Centerville. While in Fairfield, he was employed as an auto body repairman.
He is survived by his wido, Maxine, who was employed at Patton's Fabric Shop and Willie's Dancing Needle; one son, James Max and a daughter, Janet and their families.
