Miss Delia Morrison, teacher at No. 7 dismissed her school Monday to attend the funeral of Grandma Davis, She was unexpectedly called home
Monday evening on account of the illness of her father.
Mrs. Mary Stevenson Davis died at the home of her son, P. S., Saturday evening from causes incident to old age. Jan. 13th, 1912 she would have been 88 years of age. With a strong will to wait on herself she was able to do so in most part till on Wednesday before her death of Saturday. Elder Glidewell spoke words of comfort to a large audience of relatives and friends at Mt. Olive Monday Oct. 16, at 10:30 o'clock. Interment was made in the family burying lot in the Hibbs cemetery.
John P. Davis, with his sons Park and Earnest and families, of Putnam Co., Mo., attended the funeral of their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Davis.
