Glenn McFall
Glenn Elmer McFall 80, of rural Moulton, died Thursday, January 9, 1975, at St. Joseph
Mercy Hospital in Centerville. He had been a patient at Golden Age Manor for some time prior to entering the hospital.
Born February 14, 1894, in Appanoose County, he was the son of David L. and Mary McGrew McFall. He had been a farmer most of his adult life.
He was married to Mazile Doggett February 2, 1918. Survivors are his wife, two sisters, Ella King, Ottumwa, and Ina Shaffer, Greenfield, Ia., and nieces and nephews. Preceding in death were his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Mr. McFall was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, and had been Sunday school superintendent there several years. He had served as county assessor for Sharon Township for 18 years.
Services will be Saturday, 1 p.m. at Duley Funeral Home in Centerville. The Rev. Marjorie York will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Ararat Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 8 p.m.
